Evaluation Documentary. I had a few ideas as to what I wanted to do my documentary on these being, my diabetes, the history on my village, lgbt and ncs, to which I picked ncs mentors to which I am passionate about and wanted to do something to which I was passionate about, so I had the idea of doing the type of thing that would show what mentoring is like with the help of my fellow mentors, so we could see more to ncs other then the participants having fun but the team behind them, who would support them through their journey of ncs. My research into documentaries I would so was better then the other two because I enjoyed this more then the other two projects, to which I analysed todrick halls documentary and the biggie and Tupac and the ardmans production to which we got to see different documentaries shown to us, I also did research into ncs (even though I pretty much knew the information already) and getting the answers from my questions that I had for my fellow mentors I ...

The Interviews. My first two interviews have gone well, my questions and my composition where okay they just needed a little improvement, for example to get more of an answer from my interviewee i could ask them another question to elaborate th eir answer, which at the moment im getting short answer some even being one words. screen shot from one of my interviews with Sam. i could have improved on the location for Sams interview but what i did with the green screen with a back drop which was made by me in Photoshop.

NCS is a service that brings young people from the ages of 15-17 together for a four-phase program designed to provide skills and experiences. The first phase is the adventure phase, where the young person gets to go away for a week either camping or going to some sort of PGL, and they get to know there team they would be spending there experience with, then phase two is called discovery, where the young person goes away again this time to a more comfortable setting of a university where they develop them selves by learning life skills, gain confidence in public speaking, communications skills and budgeting. Phase three is the social action, where the team comes together to come up with an idea to give back to there community either raising money for their chosen charity or volunteer at a care home or picking up rubbish. “How can creative choices affect our perceptions?” Creative choices come in varies different choices from the editing to the mise-en-scene and the cinematography, with in films the effect of these choices can be interpreted by different audience types for example the mise-en-scene will have to incorporate the creative choice of how the film maker wants the audience to feel. Which is also the same for the music in the background because it wouldn’t make sense if you place chop suey when the scene is supposed to make you feel sad.
